Each cover is lined with Oeko Tex 100 certified Merino Wool and has a 100% cotton interfacing in the wings and front to hold snaps securely in place. The Oeko Tex Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification process that ensures products are free from harmful substances.
Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture and is slow to feel damp, yet remains breathable, allowing for maximum air circulation around your baby's bum. Wool diaper covers do not need to be washed as frequently as other covers and are naturally anti-bacterial. Its natural elasticity means the cover fits well while moving with your baby.
Three rows of snaps and latex-free elastic on the interior of leg openings and waist provide an adjustable fit to accommodate your growing baby.

- Your wool diaper covers, shorties, and longies do not need to be washed as frequently as other covers, as the lanolin in wool neutralizes urine. Between washes, hang your cover to dry. You'll know it's time for a wash if the cover is stinky when it's completely dry.
An important step in the proper care of your wool covers is lanolizing before the first use and every month or so thereafter. Using a wool wash that contains lanolin will help extend the time between re-lanolizing.
To lanolize your wool covers and clothing:
- Fill a sink with lukewarm water
- Add a pea-sized amount of lanolin to a separate cup of very hot water and stir to dissolve (use more lanolin and hot water for more than 2-3 articles)
- Once well-dissolved, add to lukewarm water and mix well
- Add your wool, making sure each article is fully soaked with lanolin mixture
- Let soak for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight
- For brand-new covers, repeat above steps 4 more times
- To dry, lay covers in a towel and roll tightly to squeeze out excess water
- Hang or lay flat to dry
